Answer preview
Aging results in many physical changes, including bones and joints, which tend to become less intense. With time, bones lose the density called osteopenia, leading to weaker bones which can cause a fracture. In women, after menopause, the osteopenia speeds up due to the low production of estrogen. A lot of exercises and healthy eating increases bones strength. The amount of muscle tissue tends to decrease as people get older due to reduced growth levels of hormones and testosterone, stimulating muscle development. However, aging reduces muscles mass and strength by around 15% during the average adult life span leading to decreased activities like walking, dancing, and even athletes (Saito et al., 2019). Drinking a lot of water, eating enough proteins and fruits and vegetable help in mass muscle building.
