In his study, Muratbekova-Touron (2011) aims at studying the perceptions of the Russian managers towards French management. Also, Muratbekova-Touron (2011)1 aims to compare Russian and French managers’ perceptions towards French and Russian management culture. Muratbekova-Touron (2011) begins by saying that individual managers’ success heavily relies on their ability to understand and cope with cross-cultural differences. An individual manager’s ability to cope with cultural differences is influenced by the culture within which they work. For foreign managers, their perceptions of the culture are more likely to influence their behavior. Individuals with an incorrect perception are more likely not to adjust to a host of cultures or commit cultural gaffes, therefore resulting in restlessness.
