Negotiations are essential in solving labor disputes, for they enable the involved parties to make firm decisions regarding employees’ rights. In other instances, these parties can go into a bargaining breakdown when they do not reach an agreement. An arbitrator comes in to solve the conflict, which helps organizations to avoid strikes or walkouts.
