Evidence-based practice project
Question Description: In 500-750 words, develop an evaluation plan to be included in your final evidence-based practice project. Provide the following criteria in the evaluation, making sure it is comprehensive and concise:
1. Describe the rationale for the methods used in collecting the outcome data.
2. Describe the ways in which the outcome measures evaluate the extent to which the project objectives are achieved.
3. Describe how the outcomes will be measured and evaluated based on the evidence. Address validity, reliability, and applicability.
4. Describe strategies to take if outcomes do not provide positive results.
5. Describe implications for practice and future research.
You are required to cite three to five sources to complete this assignment. Sources must be published within the last 5 years and appropriate for the assignment criteria and nursing content.

Strategies to take of the outcome results are not positive
The expected outcomes are improved healthcare outcomes for patients with prostate cancer. If the results conflict with the expectations, then the strategies used in accomplishing the procedure will be changed to ensure better results. The negative results will, however, have to be analyzed to understand where and what went wrong. This will inform how the EBP procedure will be modified to achieve the desired results. If changes do not lead to better results, then the procedure will be cancelled and other approaches considered.
Implications for research
The implications of the study are that prostatectomy is the best strategy in the management of prostate cancer. Suppose the research leads to better healthcare outcomes such as regaining sexual functionalities and not having urinary incontinence and wholly eliminating the cancerous cells. In that case, prostatectomy will be the way for managing prostate cancer. Kim & Bullock (2018) have praised prostatectomy as the future of managing prostate cancer, and therefore positive results will encourage the adoption of the approach.
