Many organizations and leaders cannot be currently trusted, which has been one reason why many have been failing or collapsing. This is because they have no culture of morality, ethics, and social responsibility. There are several ways healthcare leaders can foster a culture of social responsibility, morality, and ethics within their healthcare organizations. One of these ways is to reinforce the wanted behaviors and ignore the unwanted ones. Behaviors that the healthcare leaders want to continue should be reinforced mindfully and intentionally. Those that need to be discontinued should not be reinforced but ignored and will naturally extinguish themselves.
