Answer preview

Langer (2017) highlights that strategic integration is an essential aspect of improving business performance. In simpler terms, strategic integration entails integrating and transforming individual components to improve business performance, promote efficiency, and increase profitability. It allows the organization to line up its strategic business approaches with the dynamic, ever-changing external environment (Sheehan, 2005).  Strategic integration enhances the organizational capabilities through enjoining different independent departments, groups, corporate processes, and activities, thus attaining a synergy in the company.  It helps the organization to handle the consequences of different predictable and unpredictable hurdles that are more likely to occur at any level of the business operation. Langer (2017) argues that strategic integration aims at building a synergy by integrating independent component of the organization. Therefore, it begins with writing and executing strategic objectives from an informed standpoint, seeking to refashion the current organization performance.(678words)
