Job analysis is defined as the collection and making records of data related to a specific job. Some of these data include the required skills, knowledge, and education to complete the laid tasks. The responsibilities, duties, specific emotional and physical characteristics are also outlined to ensure the job in question is performed in the desired way. The primary purpose of job analysis is to generate information that is used to ensure that a job fits the right employee. It also enables employers to efficiently perform job appraisal and determine the level of compensation and training programs necessary for a particular job.
