Answer preview

After closely analyzing the consequences of choosing either of the presented dilemmas, I decided that donating the $800 to the area suffering from famine is the best option. I believe that between the two scenarios, donating to save people suffering from starvation will give me contentment, knowing I have made the right decision. After comparing the consequences of each choice, the donation will help many people from their misery, while the money for my sister’s college books will only help one person. Furthermore, my sister can still access books from the college library, and on online libraries, I will be saving the money to help those who are in real and urgent need. Helping the needy is an act of humanity that people should practice in making society a better place to live.
