Today, the area of multi-threaded processors is experiencing innovations. According to Giret (2020), early this year, AMD showed its innovative efforts by developing a mobile processor for PCs. The processor has up to eight cores and sixteen threads. Moreover, the processor is 90% faster in multi-threaded performance compared to its competitors from Intel. Also, the area of operating system designs is under innovation too. Microsoft’s BIG project has led to the growth of cloud computing through automated operating systems (microsoft, 2020). The mobile processors and automated operating systems are presenting major effects in the computing field. That is, computers are becoming more potable as new processors emerge. Also, data centers are becoming more powerful with automated operating systems that run without human involvement.
