What strategies can staff nurses use to collect and share evidence that could impact health policy decisions?
The healthcare sector is affected by numerous challenges that must be solved as soon as they arise. Some of these challenges must be addressed by enforcing health policies and reforms. Health policies are made after substantial evidence is gathered to ascertain the need for reforms and the appropriate way to implement the most effective reforms. The process of gathering the evidence needed to initiate reforms is known as an evidence-based practice (AbuRuz, Hayeah, Al-Dweik, & Al-Akash, 2017). To collect the evidence, the staff nurses must conduct a series of steps, followed by sharing the acquired evidence to initiate healthcare reforms.
