Prepare a paper in which you identify and explain the clinical supervision requirements for your state. Make sure you include the hours necessary for supervision and any other requirements. Then, analyze what you think are the characteristics of good clinical supervision – both individual and group supervision integrating an understanding that evaluation is an ongoing component of the dynamic and interactive process of social work practice with, and on behalf of, diverse individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities. Be sure to include the following as well:

Determine the necessary components of effective supervision including the importance of the dimensions of diversity are understood as the intersectionality of multiple factors.

Evaluate how you think you will perform as a clinical supervisor.
Explain the characteristics you must develop and embrace to be an effective clinical supervisor recognizing how their personal experiences and affective reactions influence their professional judgment and behavior.
