The social factors include income, which contributes much to the type of food we consume. Lack of enough money leads to an inability to consume healthy foods, live in contusive environments, and not access health care facilities. Lack of education makes people eat all types of foods and consume drugs without knowledge of their effects (Bell, Audrey, Gunnell, Cooper, & Campbell, 2019). Lack of physical activities sometimes is contributed by lack of knowledge. Lack of enough sleep due to long hours of working or drugs, stress management problems, or depression are some of the psychological factors that cause diabetes.
