While addressing the growing population issue, the patient-doctor population is of concern. According to Alluhidan et al. (2020), KSA’s population is likely to increase from 34.8 million, with an added value of five million by 2025 and an ultimate 54.7 million by 2050. While the government spends the greatest percentage on health, accounting for 4.16% as of 2015, the shortage of healthcare professionals is worrying.
