Their dance routines were unique and complicated, something that made me look out of place. My parents, siblings, and all other tourists noticed the struggle I was going through trying to mimic their dancing routines. Rather than encourage me, they all burst out laughing. Eventually, I gave up, and we left for our hotel. The numerous trips my father had taken to Serengeti allowed him to create contacts with a local tour guide company. One of the company drivers came to pick us up from our hotel and proceeded to take us into the Serengeti national park, where we would get a chance to see the wild animals and get an opportunity to camp out in the wild. After paying the requisite fees, we made our way into the national park. I could not wait to start taking pictures of animals and landscapes. One of the reasons my father chose the Serengeti national park, is the abundance of wildlife and the high biodiversity within the park. Our trip got off to an exciting start because we got an opportunity to witness first hand as a couple of cheetahs chased down an impala. The moment our tour guide pointed out the chase to us, I took out my camera and managed to capture the takedown.
