In the context of business ventures and financial discourse, the term supply chain is used to describe the entire system or network that facilitates the movement of goods and services from the producers to the consumers. Such a system consists of various elements, resources, processes, information, organizations, and a myriad of many other activities. The concept of technology, on the other hand, encapsulates the different methods, skills, and processes used to make practical use of scientific knowledge. Although technology is conventionally associated with the production of goods and services, its contribution has morphed into the sphere of supply (Druehl et al., 2018). This paper evaluates the different manifestations of technology and asserts that technology has been instrumental in overhauling the supply chain model for greater efficiency in delivery.(3437 words)
