Further, Federigo, in the story “Federigo’s Falcon,” portrays a dynamic character. At first, Federigo is a wealthy man who uses all his riches to woe the lady he loves, Monna Giovanna. The lavish spending makes Federigo poor, forcing him to shift to his small farm with his only possession, the falcon. According to Boccaccio (par. 1), Federigo did not think that his wealth would finish at any point in his life, thus portraying a careless trait that drove him to poverty in wanting to please a woman.
