Biopsychosocial care plans

The similarity between fear, panic, worry, and anxiety is that they entail the idea of a negative result and anticipated danger. The difference between these feelings is that fear represents known threats expected to cause harm (American Psychiatric Association, 2015). However, anxiety is usually unknown with an unclearly defined threat. Also, while fear may cause minor physical reactions, anxiety can trigger severe sweating, palpitations, and trembling. Panic creates an overwhelmed feeling of flight or fight responses. However, worry is caused by distress or frustrations over a specific situation.
