From the video provided in this class, the speakers comment that white Americans have a more difficult time discussing race than Black people. Today, the issue of racism is a delicate topic attracting diverse responses from different people. Young (2013) illustrates that people are naturally racist, but it is wrong to define this race not good or bad. As the professor i8llustrates, racism has become a difficult topic for whites compared to blacks, which is my daily experience. To white people, the issue of racism is weightier as it is accompanied by guilty and stress. From the media and over the place, the issue of discrimination and police brutality against black people tops the headlines. White people are seen as perpetrators or people without emotions toward minorities. Most white people are taught to have a color bride perspective to avoid being viewed as racists. The majority are taught to become a color bride and treat everybody equally.

On the other hand, it is easier for people of color to talk about their race as they feel offended by the white majority (Nolan, 2022, February 7). The black community is pushing for equal rights and opportunities in the country. Most of them complain of the system barriers
