Answer preview
The NSCT or the National Strategy for Counterterrorism signed by President Trump in 2018 indicates the methods that the government would take to fight against terrorism (NSCT, 2018). Based on the presented strategies, the United States has a better chance to eradicate most terrorist attacks like 9/11. For example, the first strategy is to end terrorism from its roots by fighting against the existing terrorist organizations, working closely with partners, and improving internal collaboration. If this strategy succeeds, the government will have a chance to serve people without worrying too much about terrorist threats. The strategy of enhancing preparedness will help the United States remain ahead of any terrorist plans. It is because preparedness means that the government has active plans and resources for fighting against any emerging terrorist threats.
