Globalization has made the world a global village where geographical location is not a massive trade barrier. For developing countries, globalization has been essential in growing their economies (Slaughter, 2007). However, in the US, globalization has had both positive and negative implications in equal proportions. However, for trade unions, the effect has been negative, and the same is threatening the existence of the country’s vibrant trade unions.
