semi-annual awards, among others. The power of monetary incentives is that they motivate employees for optimal production. A nonmonetary incentive is another program that can motivate an employee to perform well. Employees can be given perks and opportunities that motivate them, such as flexible working hours, working independently, and training and opportunities. Such rewards allow employees to gain more skills and hence enable them to advance in their careers. Security of service is another nonmonetary incentive that can motivate me to perform exceptionally. When employees are assured that their jobs are secure, they put maximum effort into ensuring the organization remains operational. Job security also eases mental tension and therefore enables an employee to give their best. Recognition is also another incentive that can motivate me to work hard. As humans, we have egos that need to be satisfied, and this is achieved through being recognized for doing good deeds. When employees are praised, they respond by working hard to give their best to the organization.
