Education is an essential component of every person, regardless of being a girl or a boy.  It helps a person become smarter and learn new things and facts around the world. Parents should give their children an equal opportunity to access education regardless of their gender.  For a long time, women have been discriminated against by their male counterparts in all aspects, including access to education, wealth, better jobs, and so on.  Since ancient times, society did not put a lot of emphasis on educating the girl child.  In other words, girls were perceived as the tool to marry, bear, and raise children while caring for home activities.  Compared to the boys, girls were only educated on basic issues that were intended to helps them in their marriage life.   In most societies across the world, they believe that women are not supposed to be educated and whoever caught educating them faces grave consequences.
