Information systems play a crucial role in the operations of modern organizations. To some extent, practically all organizations and companies depend on information systems and their corresponding processes. A sophisticated information technology infrastructure is needed to power a high-performance information system (Gritzalis et al., 2019). Information systems infrastructure entails a range of applications and systems, devices, standards, and conventions that collectively help achieve various organizations’ tasks and processes (Gritzalis et al., 2019). However, one of the main limitations of information technology infrastructure is safety issues. Since information forms the fundamental component facilitating daily organizations’ operations, its safety is crucial in maintaining the subject organization’s viability.
