It is important to note that the H1N1 flu causes similar symptoms as the other strains of viruses because they possess similar characteristics. In the case of the swine flu pandemic, the signs in human beings were headache, fever, sore throat, cough, watery eyes, chills, diarrhea, nausea, body aches, and fatigue (Marchi, Manini, Kistner, Piu, Remarque, Manenti & Trombetta, 2020). Such signs are common in mild cases of infection. The signs and symptoms include chest pains, severe muscle pains, difficulty breathing, dehydration, seizure, blue lips, dizziness, and eventual complications of preexisting medical conditions for the individuals who underwent severe conditions (Marchi et al., 2020). The most common sign that was reported during the pandemic in 2009 was diarrhea and nausea. These signs and symptoms took about two to three days to show.
