Assistive technology has revolutionized how abled differently people lead their lives. Having such in the classroom will go a long way to help the students keep up with the pace their peers are in class. The good thing with such tech is the fact that they can be readily available. An instance is an app that translates the teacher’s text to speech, which would help a blind student take notes in class. These are apps I will get for my students. Have programs tailored for specific students in the class is a good measure as well. In the case where a student with a learning disability who finds it hard to get everything at a similar pace, then they can have pull-out sessions. This way, they get to recap on what was learned without feeling the pressure of getting the concept as fast as their classmates are. The extra attention paid to them when they are in a specialized classroom will help them stay at the same pace as their colleagues. This can be scheduled daily, but they still get to attend classes with the rest of the students.
