Answer preview
Another way that technology has blurred the lines between professional and personal life is through telecommunication. Today, it is hard to articulate the exact time that one is supposed to work and have personal time because of the 24/7 work environment. That is, work tasks have found their way into home times (Noonan & Glass, 2012) because one can work online from home. Due to this, people are living a blend of personal and professional life at the same time. Traditionally, the home was meant for personal life where someone could play with kids or rest on the bed. Nowadays, homes have become offices when some people even work in the comfort of their beds.
