Cultural assimilation refers to the process by which one culture adopts the values of the dominant culture. The world is made up of people who are conversant with Information Technology (IT) and those who are non-IT. Before the 1950s, when computer technology was not invented, the non-IT group was prevalent. Today, IT has gotten into every aspect of human life, including communication, decision-making, and social interactions. Since people cannot avoid the change brought by IT, it is high time for non-IT to join the IT group in order to welcome those changes. The following three strategies can be used to bring IT and non-IT together.(399words)
