Answer preview

Norepinephrine is a neurotransmitter in the brain, and the spinal cord constricts blood vessels and helps maintain blood pressure during stressful moments. They are believed to increase alertness, arousal, and attention. Such neurotransmitters affect one’s sleep cycle, wake, moods, and memory (Berry, 2019). However, they can be sensitive to environmental challenges and regulate behavior accordingly. On the contrary, serotine neurotransmitter helps regulate mood, behavior, sleep-wake-cycle, and memory. When serotonin is at normal levels, one feels more focused, emotionally stable, happier, and calmer. On the contrary, when it is at a low level, one can experience symptoms of depression.
