Covid-19 has promoted devastating consequences in low-income countries. As much as every country globally has been affected, the lack of preparedness has created obstacles (McMahon et al., 2020). Developed countries have the upper hand in improving from the huge setbacks brought about by the pandemic. However, low-income countries have a long way to go in recovering from the pandemic’s blow. Significant problems that emerging countries are facing are the scarcity of resources, foreign debt, and low quality of healthcare.
