Integrity entails being consistent and adhering to moral and ethical principles. Hence this aligns with my moral principles of being honest. When one is honest and upholds integrity, it indicates the individual’s characteristics and ability to lead. This is essential as it ensures that decisions are made based on information, providing the best judgments. I believe the leader’s personal, religious and moral beliefs affect the ability to lead. This is because when the actions are taken do not align with their personal beliefs, and the leaders cannot make the best decisions when leading. For example, in a situation where a leader must withhold information when making a deal, this may affect their ability to lead.
