). Emotional disturbances result in experiences of guilt and hostility for persons with major depression. During negative experiences, emotions trigger startle responses, especially during induced fear and anxiety. However, these reactions diminish during positive experiences. In major depressions, emotions can trigger phasic reactions and reduce the capacity to experience a pleasure. The role of emotions for this form of psychopathology is sadness and anhedonia. Depressive emotional symptoms affect the motivation in activities due to activations in the brain’s frontal lobes (Johnston and Edwards, 2014). Emotions also play a significant role in the development of psychopathology among teenagers. It influences the biological processes and socialization processes, leading to emotional disorders. Emotional dysregulation is high among this group, creating social problems such as aggressive and antisocial disorders. Also, psychopathology disorders develop during adolescence because of increased incidence and clinical differentiation issues.
