My classmates and I can minimize social media’s odds limiting career opportunities by being cautious about what we post on the platforms. When applying for a job, one should learn the company’s policy to understand what is allowed and prohibited. Anything that may have already been posted and is risky to future career opportunities should be taken down. However, it is essential to think before posting since even deleted information can be saved via other means such as screenshots. Another tactic that we can employ is to keep social media accounts private, thus control the people viewing the site.
