Dr. Wood can be effective once his human skills improve to better relationships with team members and motivate them to perform their functions. Instead of drawing attention to himself as competent, he should inspire the rest to improve performance. Dr. Wood has effectively worked with small groups (Northouse, 2021). There are major barriers to the successful completion of the project, and hence teamwork and individual commitment are necessary. Effective leadership is necessary to relieve the stress and anxieties caused by negative experiences.

Dr. Wood has demonstrated excellent performance in problem-solving skills and knowledge. Despite the time and budget constraints, he has managed to establish effective solutions to meet the project deliverables (Northouse, 2021). For instance, he has sourced funds to meet the costs, but there is a concern about the incidence being used to leverage personal credit.
