There are several areas that need to be advanced or changed in my personal philosophy of nursing. One of the changes is accountability which is a major aspect that is held by most nurses and guides the nursing career. This means that I should always be accountable for every action and choice I make. This includes the choice of developing my individual knowledge base, and this should always be within the boundaries of the professional nursing practice (Drach‐Zahavy et al., 2018).
