Further, the privacy based on the security protocols established on the online support networks reduces stigma. Clients can access the health professionals confidentially without alerting families or friends. With the face-to-face interventions, stigmatization is possible, mainly when surrounding friends realize that the client will see a therapist due to mental health issues.
