As we begin to learn about research we should study-examine and discuss the below topical areas.

1. What is the role and importance of ethical research and how does it impact issues within your current job

2. What types of common research methods are generally applied in scholarly research proposals and what criteria generally applies to the particular issue(s) under investigation for a study

3. Explain the importance of ethics within any research proposal and explain the reasoning for methods and integrity in the concept, design and application of a proposed research study as well as protecting any participants.

As researchers, it is important to underscore the methods and required provisions in research and the human subject protections outlined within the study.

Duke University accepted to pay $ 112.5 million in settlement of its violation of research ethics through falsified reports. Poehlman, a former tenured research professor at the University of Vermont (UVM) College of Medicine in Burlington, was asked to pay a comprehensive settlement for falsifying and fabricating data. Materially false statement in the grant application is a key issue.
