Consider technological innovations and developments in your field or other fields and address both of the following questions. First, examine the social consequences of one such innovation and describe how this innovation has either increased or decreased social justice and inequality in the U.S. Then, discuss whether and/or how this will influence constructive and deconstructive interactions between people from different cultural, racial, and ethnic groups within the U.S. Please integrate course material (concepts, theories, discussions, lectures, readings). Include supporting details: data, real world examples, etc. Please cite at least one course reading and one appropriate source from outside class. Technological innovation has decreased social justice and increased inequality in the country. Although drilling helps the country to meet its energy needs, it has negative implications on the environment.  The production of products such as oil and natural gas pollutes the environment.  The article highlights that the drilling methods generate large quantities of greenhouse gases and pollute both air and water (Meng, 2017). Also, it presents occupational safety challenges to the people working in offshore drilling sites.  Despite the implementation of occupational safety standards, injuries, accidents, and work-related deaths in the sector remain common.  There is a common belief dangerous chemicals used during fracking which can be harmful to human.   Moreover, fracking technology is associated with the pollution of underground water. Some authors believe that chemicals added to the ground pollute underground water.   Therefore, I will be the leading cause of water shortage in the future.
