Answer preview

After being successful in mentoring a group of medical-surgical nurses in my unit, I can take the following steps to disseminate my evidence internally. First, I would provide it to the hospital board because it comprises representatives of all healthcare professionals in healthcare. I would use the face-to-face method to ensure we interact and provide instant feedback to raised questions. The other step would be buy-in activities such as presentations to build momentum for the EBP evidence. According to Baloh, Zhu, and Ward (2018), buy-in activities help gain small wins and build momentum for EBP project findings. It is because the people who participate in these activities will gain a better understanding of the project findings.  I would also use nurse team meetings to engage with nurses and disseminate the evidence. Nurses can act as dissemination partners because more nurses are at the frontline compared to other health professionals.
