Ethics in leadership helps to promote mutual trust to the rest of the workforce. An ethical leader who treats everyone fairly consequently encourages the employees to follow suit, and thus an environment of mutual trust is created (Ciulla, 2020). As a result, this creates a self-motivated team and therefore ensures that a leader gains employees that can be trusted. In so doing, an ethical leader saves time as well as money that could have been used in micromanaging the employees and instead redirects these resources to other areas that could be in need of the leader’s time and energy.

Keeping a High Moral and Boosting Performance

For a leader to be successful in leading their employees, they need to ensure that the employee’s performance is at its optimum level (Ciulla, 2020). While inspiring their employees, ethical leaders instill a moral compass in the way they conduct themselves in the workplace. This ensures that the employees are motivated, inspired, and held accountable by adhering to high integrity standards. By so doing, the ethical leader can ensure that the employee’s performance is boosted and that their morale is maintained on an elevated level as a result of the gratification they receive from their performance.

Write an evaluative claim about a problem; this argument must be based on three reasons. For example, argue that something is harmful, unethical, failing, backfiring, etc. based on three reasons. Determine a set of criteria you will use to argue your claim. Your thesis statement will be tailored to establish that the topic is a problem.

Be sure your topic is specific and debatable. For example, most people would agree that violence is harmful, but not everyone would agree that the death penalty is ethical. Claiming that violence is harmful to society is not only too broad a topic, but it is also not debatable. Thus, it would not make an effective claim. It would be much more manageable to argue that California’s (or another state’s) application of the death penalty is unjust or to argue that the appeals process for inmates on death row discriminates against (or disproportionately affects) a particular group. Because you will also need to introduce and respond to an opposing view in your essay, it’s especially important that you choose a topic about which there is at least some disagreement.

Purpose

To identify a problem that links to your narrative argument topic and to learn how to create an evaluation claim that addresses a social issue. You will use ethos, pathos, and logos to persuade your audience.

Some quarters perceive mandatory vaccination policies as affronts to the vital aspect of trust-building that should be the backbone of any public health process (Islam et al., 2021). Such decisions affect the intimate facets of people’s lives as people have a right to know everything about a substance injected into their bodies. On the general plane, people often assume gaps in public policy as an admission of fault (Islam et al., 2021). Concerns about the government’s handling of the pandemic extend to other issues beyond vaccination. For instance, governments and other regulatory bodies developed policies such as lockdowns and social distancing rules to minimize interactions among people and, by extension, community infections. Such measures were designed to facilitate more effective contact tracing and avoid a chaotic scene where the people one interacted with could not be ascertained. However,

Any organization’s progress depends on its ability to maintain its workforce and leverage its extensive capabilities. How an organization treats its employees plays a significant role in its performance. Therefore, it is essential to identify potential causes of problems and take appropriate measures to address them. Diversity and discrimination are two fundamental ethical concepts in the management of employees (Associated Press, 2022). Diversity refers to the need to ensure that the workforce reflects a broader pool of people from different ethnicities, religions, genders, and those with disabilities. Discrimination describes treating a person differently from others because of their characteristics.

To conclude whether justice is better than injustice, Glaucon used the tale of The Ring of Gyges to support his point. He explained that Gyges, who was just a shepherd during the reign of the king of Lydia, found a ring on a corpse of a bronze horse that had been exposed by an earthquake while tending his sheep. He took the ring and made it his by wearing it on his finger. He noticed that he becomes invisible when the ring’s setting is turned inward and goes back to being visible when it’s turned out.

He used the ring’s magic to seduce the queen, who falls into the trap and helps him eliminate the king, thus taking over the kingdom. Gyges felt that he was protected by the ring and could commit any unjust act since the ring made him invisible (Mishra & Sundeep, 294). He says that if people were given the ability to do anything with no consequences, then everybody would choose to be unjust and commit wrongful acts for their selfish desires and would not care if they are being just or unjust.

This issue relates to Module 3: Job Discrimination under sexual harassment. Jane’s story is not unique because, according to Johnson et al. (2018), approximately 35% of working women have experienced sexual-related harassment at least once over their careers. This number jumps to 45% for women working in technical fields that men majorly dominate. Additionally, about 55% of women in the senior management levels also experience some form of sexual harassment because men majorly surround them. Johnson et al. (2018) adds that according to the complaints received by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in 2018, about 16% of the total sexual harassment cases were from men. This means that even men also experience sexual harassment. Organizations need to develop strict policies and measures to prevent any form of sexual harassment in the workplace. The employees should also be made aware of what sexual harassment is and ways to avoid it. Decisive and swift actions should be taken on all sexual harassment reported cases after thorough investigations have been done.

Therefore, a good foundation of justice provides that members of society should be given fair treatment and similar opportunities according to their rights regardless of their diversity (Yeshiva University, 2020). Furthermore, impartiality involves treating all society members fairly irrespective of their class or status, which is paramount in relation to morality.

One of the secondary ovulation symptoms is mittelschmerz which refers to ovulation pain in the lower abdomen. It occurs fourteen days prior to menstruation. Another symptom is ovulation spotting, whereby a woman experiences light bleeding during this cycle, although it is not common in all females. The third symptom is the swollen vulva, which occurs in the area where ovulation occurs. Fourthly, increased libido, which is stimulated by high estrogen levels. However, libido is low due to reduced estrogen when ovulation is not taking place (Gnoth et al., 2016). The fifth ovulation symptom is breast tenderness caused by high progesterone hormones. The tender breasts result in pain in the nipples, and fluid delays as the breasts prepare for lactation and conception. The sixth symptom is bloating, which occurs due to increased fluids in the lower abdomen stimulated by progesterone. Lastly, ferning is a symptom of the mucus forming fern in its secretions. It is a result of sodium chloride crystallization on the mucus.
